Lorette Janse van Rensburg

Lorette completed her B.Comm(Law) LL.B degrees at the former Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education in Potchefstroom during 1995. Lorette joined Sasol Chemical Industries in 1996 as a contract manager and during her time at Sasol, completed her MBA-degree part-time.

During 2001 Lorette joined Standard Bank and in 2004 completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Taxation through UNISA. She gained a vast amount of commercial and corporate experience at both Sasol and Standard Bank.

Lorette left the corporate world to go into private practice and did her articles at Deirdre Pieterse Attorneys, a firm which specialized in Taxation Law only and in July 2006 joined Petzer, du Toit & Ramulifho to manage the conveyancing department and specialize in Commercial Law. Lorette was admitted as a Conveyancer and Notary Public on 12 February 2007 and has Right of Appearance in the High Court of South Africa.
